And sure he didn’t make Homecoming - but he did give us Chicago Freestyle - and has been turning the R&B game on its head since he debuted at the start of the 2020s. So mark your calendars and iron out your best fits, because Giveon is home — and we really mean home. The Long Beach-born, Chicago-raised crooner is stepping onto the legendary Aragon Ballroom stage this Monday, October 20 for one of the most special nights of his 2025 Dear Beloved Tour, and honestly, the vibes are already here - all we need is y’all. Picture this vibe with us : tuxedos with tears, red wine in solo cups, and heartbreak galore to the tune of G - G for Giveon, that is! This show is a love letter to the city that raised him. Giveon’s silky smooth vocals belong to the world now, sure, but he’s gonna make sure to save some sweetness for us as he makes his way back to the city. And the opener lineup?? Stupid good. Charlotte Day Wilson is opening the night with her warm, slow-burning neo-soul - and Chi city loves Ms.Wilson, if y’all didn’t know already. And then there's Sasha Keable, who’s rolling through with UK R&B energy that’ll have the room swaying like a slow dance in a crowded kitchen. These two could headline their own tours, and they’re just the opening acts. You already know Giveon is about to make it a night to remember. And our venue? Aragon?! The Ballroom’s gilded ceilings and moody lighting are built for this kind of show — intimate but grand, like a candlelit monologue to your ex.
