Right here on October 17th, the Aragon Ballroom is turning into the reggaeton backyard cookout we’ve been missing since the summertime ended. Picture this - the beat starts, the lights shine all over us coming down from the Aragon’s ceiling, and most importantly - we have you and all our friends around us singing to every song from Bad Bunny and Tainy. Listen up gals — this is OUR NIGHT, where women take over the dance floor - no boys allowed at this party - where we laugh loud, sweat heavy and meet some new friends along the way too. We’ll scream every lyric at the top of our lungs, and find our crew in the crowd. Picture this: The Aragon floods with bass, smoke, neon — a sea of fierce confidence in every direction. The DJs (all women) spin the reggaeton hits, the perreo anthems, the remixes you didn’t know you needed — until your body moves so naturally, you forget you ever doubted your rhythm. This is our takeover.

The Sorry Papi Tour was born to “change the culture of reggaetón and create woman-centered party spaces without a culture of sexual harassment. We wanted to create a space where women can feel safe as partygoers and also an opportunity where women can showcase their talents.” said DJ Miriam, the co-founder of Sorry Papi and one of the lead voices of the charge over the last five years since the party began. That mission is coming BACK to Chicago real soon and this space is pure, it's ours, and all the support is real - if that’s not a good reason to dance, I don’t know what is. There’ll be surprises — photo stations, themed visuals, pink & pretty cocktails, merch drops — the kind of details that make the night not just unforgettable, but magical. Everybody’s invited to come in your fiercest outfit — whether black lace, streetwear, glitter, or full glam. Bring your energy, your fire, your unapologetic self “women are the organizers, the DJs, and 100 percent of the audience.” That’s the foundation, that’s the vibe, that’s the promise - and we got you!
