ABOUT THREE 6 MAFIA

Memphis born hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia rose to prominence in the 90s with phenomenal hits like “Tear Da Club Up,” “Who Run It,” and “Sippin on Some Syrup.” Originally a six member group, Three 6 Mafia was quick to make their breakthrough on the Billboard charts, performing incredibly on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. In 2005, the group released the single, “Stay Fly” which became their first  single to enter the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 13. The single, spawned from the group’s eighth album, earned double platinum status in the US. The album also became their first record to reach number 1 on Billboard, topping the R&B and Rap charts.
